This is a collaboration beer with WEST COAST BREWING, a brewery located in Mochimune, Shizuoka. With its overwhelming quality, captivating worldview, and the artwork that forms it, WCB is a monster brewery that has charmed countless craft beer fans, and every action of theirs represents the Japanese craft beer scene. It would not be an exaggeration to say that they have raised the level of Japanese craft beer by several notches through their activities that have always led the industry. This third collaboration with WCB features a very limited supply of super fresh hops from 2026, "PIKIMAI HOPS," which sold out instantly even in New Zealand. PIKIMAI HOPS is a valuable farm that prioritizes quality above all else, managing the timing of harvests very strictly at a small to medium-sized farm and emphasizing oil retention through low-temperature drying. We used these hops together with WCB and exchanged opinions on the details of how to use the hops. I also had the opportunity to design for WCB again this year, with the theme of "flood." The 2026 harvest was affected by two floods said to be once-in-a-century events, but perhaps as a result, the hops turned out wonderfully, and we incorporated that story into the design (it's easier to see when you put them side by side). Please try both WCB and TOTOPIA. A smooth, mellow taste that blends naturally, with the refreshing flavor of ripe pineapple. Herbal and pine nuances form the structure and complement the dunk.
