6 Day Weekend - Belgian IPA

Belgian IPA | 350ml | ABV 4.5%

Weekly 6-Day Weekend was born from inspiration drawn to a flavorful, low-alcohol beer encountered during a previous visit to Belgium. Building on that experience, we considered how we could create a more modern version. Composed of Pilsner malt and wheat malt, this beer features a light body and color, while the wheat provides a pleasantly soft mouthfeel.

What makes Belgian beers special is the complex layers of aroma created by esters and phenols. We decided to emphasize the fruity aspects within that and create a beer that makes the most of the dry finish produced by the yeast. By blending Waimea from New Zealand and Simcoe and Citra from the USA, we added a light, pine-like aroma as an accent to the firm citrus and berry character, highlighting the flavorful character derived from the hops. Furthermore, we used state-of-the-art dry-hopping equipment to maximize the characteristics of these hops. While possessing a vibrant hop character, it is easy to drink and has a refreshing finish that will leave you wanting another glass as soon as you finish the first.
