Tonephilia - Double Hazy IPA
Double Hazy IPA | 500ml | ABV 8.5%
This is a triple collaboration between Teenage, Scott Murphy, and Totopia. Each of them shared their ideals and expectations for a Hazy beer, and the composition was chosen to hit the sweet spot. In order to include challenges and discoveries, they used NZH-109, one of the hops from the "Bract Brewers Programme 2025" planned by the New Zealand hop farm NZ HOPS. The overwhelming tropical fruit flavor is layered with floral and herbal aromas, and the other hops are used to complement the others. This collaboration is a blend of Teenage's technical ideas, Scott's experience of knowing IPAs around the world, and Totopia's understanding of IPAs. Enjoy.
The concentrated body is filled with the noble aroma of ripe fruit. The underlying bitterness adds depth, while the crisp, pleasant finish reminiscent of lime peel leaves a good impression.
