This is not your typical Hop Buddies. Instead we have opted for a West Coast version. Why? because Jason Bathgate and Andrew Childs LOVE West Coast IPAs!
This beer is about 2 buddies coming together and using some of their favourite hops Nelson Sauvin and Mosaic in all of their glory. 9 years ago Jason and Andrew were involved in a horrible brewing accident leaving both with burns on over 40% of their bodies. Thankfully they have recovered and are currently doing what they love, making great beer. But without the help of Westpac Rescue Helicopter (amongst many others) they might not still be here right now. So, we will be donating 10% of the profits of this beer to Westpac Rescue Helicopter Auckland to help them keep doing the amazing work they do.
