Secret Spot
Triple IPA | 510ml | ABV 9.0%
This was going to be a little story about our Hop Dudes and their <secret secret> surf locations, filled with epic <redacted> and fantastic <redacted>. Unfortunately NATURE decided to derail (not a great word choice) the fun, and we are left to chit-chat about how freaking hot it is and ofc what this beer tastes like (or, what we think it tastes like). Westie Triples aren't born every day in the Shiz, so we decided we would try and roll more old school with this take. Right off the bat you are going to notice the focus on malt and the decidedly high alcohol content. This isn't a meal starter. Flavor-wise we are getting all kinds of goodies--orange and grapefruit citrus, strawberry shortcake, papaya, mango and lime--with pine/woody elements that complete the profile. It kinda sits on the spectrum as a less modern take on a triple IPA, and more like a throwback to 10 years ago (without using proper nouns, but you know the ones). A semi blast from the past we hope you'll enjoy.
