This beer rested in Bourbon and French Oak barrels on heavy additions of Tahitian vanilla, Colombian coffee from our good friends at Margaret River Roasting Co and cacao from Gabriels for a further 9 months before packaging, making this beast of a beer the smoothest drinking experience possible.
Pouring a deep, dark brown with a tan/mocha head, you are smacked with aromas of dark chocolate, heavy oak vanillins, rich banoffee driven coffee characters and dessert wine like oxidation.
The huge body and mouthfeel is supported by sticky raisins, dark espresso roast and dusty cocoa flavours. A firm but forgiving bitterness ties everything together to keep you coming back for more.
