This is a confrontational Ale. You might not like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the depth or capacity to be able to appreciate an ale of this level of sophistication. We would suggest that you stick to something a bit more mainstream. OK that’s enough, this started out by trying to clone an amazing beer by an amazing American brewery, a brewery that oozed confidence, maybe even arrogance and stood up for independent beer. We first tried that said beer at a Dive bar in New York City and it blew our tiny little beer minds.
This is brewed with American Strong Ale in Ode to those that blazed the trail before us. We used an awesome selection of Malt: Maris Otter, Dark Munich, Caramel Munich 2, Carapils and Special B as well Chinook, Amarillo and Simcoe hops. Big Malt, Big Hops and a touch of hubris.
